HDS 7 to 12..?

I have an HDS 7 gen 1. can I use a 9 or 12 screen and still get down and side scan with them ?

Going to have to clear your question up a bit. But all HDS units can project images of side and Downscan. Really depends on what equipment you have, how they are networked and what you hope to accomplish

Im just changing heads ...all ive ever had is a 7....so i couldnt find the "pages" page on the 9 and 12.....which made me wonder if they were compatible....finally found the page and so far so good ...)

be sure to check the fuse size. Pretty sure it's different between 7 and 12. If you are using the same power cable

Should be in the manual. A 12 Live requires a 5 amp fuse, don't know what you got with a Gen 1 7"
