    Anyone notice the price of Ring Free?

    Holly Crap!

    I got 2 bottles I bought last year but after that I'm going to need an alternative

    I know lower unit lube went from like $12 to $25. That is ass rape but at least I got some lube.

    I switched to amsoil last year because of how high yamalube has gotten.

    Thanks for sharing. I have Merc and was going to move to ring free but I see that is just as expensive. I don't believe it's snake oil at all IMO. Too many reports for the QuickKleen and Ring Free leaving your internals in pristine condition and all but eliminated any carbon buildup.

    These are $20-25K engines worth the price of admission I guess. You take care of them, they take care of you. Cheap insurance I suppose.

    Why can't they just put the ring free in the 2M oil. It all ends up in the same place.

    Bought 4 cans a couple days ago. 2 went in the truck when I filled up and 1.5 went on top of 17ish gallons in the boat. The other half can will be used for lawn equipment as needed. I only put a cleaning agent in my stuff about once or twice a year.

    Ringfree $18 for 12 oz and Quickleen $14 for 12 oz, does seem much more than it used to be.
