My uncle has a 2018 Express bay boat that hes replaced the tach on once already and his tachometer is wrong again . The last tach cost him $400.00 and is broken again so he's looking at other options . Ive been told that a NMEA cable can be used to connect his Helix 7 to his Yamaha F150 but Im not up to date on NMEA 2000 AT ALL so Im asking all of you whats his best options and whats it gonna cost ? Also , are there any other benefits other than Tachometer and water pressure and maybe an hour meter ?
