    PS30 no source check network

Have this older panoptix system on a bay boat. Out of nowhere can’t get the PS30 to work. I’ve tried all the fuses…disconnecting and reconnecting all connections. The transducer is getting power as it’s getting hot out of the water during trouble shooting.

Any ideas other than maybe the transducer has gone bad.

About all you can do is clean the pins on the cable and port on the unit with something like caig deoxit.
My wife asks if I'm going to fish every day. I can't fish every day. Some days I might be sick.

That might help…could be corrosion from salt environment. I’m not all that familiar with Garmin but there’s a black box with Ethernet going to 2 units on the boat. Could it be an issue with that box?

Could be. Check to see if the lights (green lights) are flickering when on if not swap ports.
