Lake Falcon and Fishing Hot Spots South chip

Just a heads up, guys, to avoid buying the Lowrance Fishing Hots Spots chip if you fish Lake Falcon, at least if you go to the Mexican side. The detail ends at the border! This chip is worthless in Mexican water. There's also some dead spots at Amistad. So, I am now looking to buy a Navionics Hot Map S, if you guys know the best place to get one. Thanks.

You are welcome. It is hard to sort out secondary points in the Salinillas when your GPS is showing you nothing but blue for water, and brown for land! Lowrance told me it was Hot Spot's fault, and Hot Spots said it was a national security issue. I guess navionics did not get that national security memo...

Yep, plenty of deer down here. In fact, that is what I do for a living. I manage a hunting ranch 13 miles west of Cotulla. Come one, come all, lots of openings for next year!

I have never fished Falcon but I have Amistad. I tend to stay on the US side not wanting to wonder over into Mexico. Just feel safer that way. But as for a map chip I would prefer the one that included everything.
