Coldest I've ever been was fishing in a boat. 40 feels like 20, 25 feels like -50
It was 40* when I splashed the boat, that itself is cold enough for me but no sun, & the steady wind is what done me in I think. Last couple hrs there was light mist too![]()
Maybe if I'd a stuck as many fish as Mike my adrenaline would have helped me through the torture, but I doubt it.

Hard for me to concentrate on a bite when I'm cold. Did catch my biggest fish in Feb when it was overcast and about 38*
