912 miles & two bites later

I am back home from the mini rally. I hope everyone else made it home safe and sound. Started out wet, and cold, and windy, then was just cold and windy, and ended up pretty dang chilly, AND WINDY. Craig took me up the river Thursday afternoon and I caught one dink on a crankbait, only bite we had. I fished pretty hard on Friday and once again had one bite, but a good fish - 22". Saturday I deemed the O in OH Ivie to be a # not a letter. 0(zero). I will post later regarding the folks I met and some general BS. For now, I will say I'm kinda whooped, a lot of miles, first trip out this fall for the warm weather stuff and that drives me nutts, I'm a no shoes, no shirt, no problem kinda guy, and fishin a place I never seen was a bit stressful and hard on my punkin head, but overall I could not have spent the last few days with any better people than those I met at the mini. Thanks for having me and hope to do it again and again. My light will always be on for any of you.

    Hey Cork!

Was yours the red and white Legend? More of a burgandy than red? I have the "same" boat and color combo in a Cobra. I saw a Legend loading up when we released our fish at weigh in. Partner has a LE 21 and he commented how sharp that Legend looked, I told him that was because he was seeing my boat!

Glad to hear you are home safe, sorry Ivie was so tough, I hear it has been that way for a couple weeks, unless your last name is Stoker!

Troy, glad you made the long haul. We might have to take up a collection for next springs rally. We will use it to convince you to make that drive once again. I don't think we can find a comedian that could do a better job. Hope to see you in the near future. I had a great time.

Hey CP, glad you came, it was great to meet you. Hope you come back this way next time around. I certianly plan on making a rally in your direction as well. If you happen upon a Gringo's, stop in and have a Carne Guisada plate for me. They we just opening their 2nd place when I left down there in 2001. I sure miss my weekly fix of Gringo's and Perry's

Jordi, it was a pleasure meeting you and your family as well. William Kierce (Pourman) and Dave (sorry, I caught your last name) are another two new friends made ... even put a face with Basszone10.

I'm looking forward to our next get together!
