Things I learned this weekend at OH Ivie.
1. Stompy stinks (methane plant)

2. Fats favaroite lake is OH Ivie.

3. Butter Bean can out fish the ol man.

4. Reggie looses more fish than I do. Way more.

5. Elm Creek (Jerry) likes to go fast in a bass boat. Congrats

6. Reggie will put the Champion in some rough areas to catch fish.


7. Linda tells Ron where the fish are. If she didn't he would be still be fishing dead water.

8. Stompy has a big mouth. Tattletail

9. It nice is to meet good people make new friends. I had a blast laughing and cutting up. Looking forward to doing it again. Fats I don't no how you ride it the same truck with Stinky. I mean Stompy.

10. I can out fish all of th above mentioned.

How many fish did you catch again Craig, Linda caught more by accident than you caught on purpose, and didn't you tell me and Linda at the ramp this afternoon that even Reggie put it on you today??????????? Man you must still be on that booze you were drinking Friday. night.

I'm trying to build up his ego. He was whining like a whooped pup about how bad his Saturday was. So I put the poor sole on fish. Did I not also tell you that he missed a over 18"and I let him flip the same spot several times with no luck I then relocated the fish and broke off on the hookset (on purpose) and then let Reggie catch the fish with my worm still in her mouth. Now am I a friend or what. Reggie lost a couple of more 3 to 4 pound fish. Now I can put people on them but, I can't catch em for them also. Reggie, Skip made tell them the truth.

OK, how was the fishing, I already know Reggie can't get fish in the boat so what else is new!!!

The fishing was slow for us. We caught 4 fish friday from 4:30pm until sundown. Did not get bit until noon on Saturday. I think we had 5 fish from noon until 2:30. Caught a couple that afternoon late. Sunday we fished until 11:00 and Reggie had a good morning with 4 or 5 fish in the boat and lost a couple of nice ones. I sucked Sunday had 1 fish about 3 lbs. If the fish were healthy Reggie would have had a nice sack. The shallow fish are very poor shape. I think Ron And Linda had decent morning both days. Stompy and Fats had about the same success as us with improvement each day.

Most of our fish came on plastic.

Fishing started out slow, everyone kept moving and trying different things until all 3 boats were able to get on a pattern. Everyone did real well Sunday morning with some solid fish caught. Saturday we did pretty good also but Sunday was best. Fats lost a good fish on a jig Sunday morning, I only saw part of the bass because Fats was blocking the view some but it was a good one. He said he thought it was a 10+ fish. I also lost a nice one in the same spot Saturday morning but wasn't able to get a look at her.

I was trying to be nice, but Fats and I kicked everyone's azz. Fishing was slow for Craig and Reggie. As far as I can tell, when is it not slow for Craig and Reggie.

i also enjoyed meeting all you guys, real good people, full of---- but real good people. i did notice that most of the fish were caught by the central texas boys who havent fished the lake before. What is up with that?

It can be tough, took some doing but found a few fish.
