Lake question....

Once I get back to Texas, I was thinking about taking the wife to Lake Mexia to teach her some lilliy pad fishing before we head to Ivie........ has anyone been to mexia lately or any info on it.......

I have been there in several years but I was raised in Mexia. There are bass in the lake but it ain't very big.

No Lillie pads at Ivie. Why you teaching her to fish them before Ivie?

No pads in Ivie, thought there were...... here in Colorado we have no pads..... I really thought Ivie had pads tho....... some people say it does and others say what you said

Did it have stickers on it? I saw a lot of those kinda pads at Amistad.

You might want to stop by Fork if you are looking for pads. Just outside of Marks front door and turn right, go under the bridge, and you are there. I have caught several fish there that pushed ten lbs out of those lily pads.

Limestone has lily pads. They are only in about 1' of water, but they're there. But of course Reggie will never see them.
