Has anyone launched here lately??? I used to get my 14' aluminum in here at the first chance every year as soon as they will allow you to. Do they still have the rule of no bass fishing until March????
I heard someone every year would catch a double didget bass.

I live 5 miles from it. It is absolutely loaded with Gaint Salvinia. The ramp is built narrow and just about the time your boat clears the water it breaks over the top causing the trailer to hang up on the top. I cannot launch my skeeter, but it would be worth it. Lake is loaded with 8-10 pound fish. Lake record is 10.46, but that is only because most will not certify them. Watch for the large gators in the area. It's rough and tumble fishing, but worth it if you can get your boat in the water. Deeper areas are over on the back side, but be careful.
They don't close it every year like they use to do.
