I was hoping to make it out to Choke Canyon this Sunday, but I woke up with a heck of a migraine headache. Wanted to puke all morning. I stayed home.

Well, I said the heck with it - I'm taking one of the few days that I've earned with my company off tomorrow. I'm not getting up at the crack of dawn - just getting up, drinking my coffee, hitching the boat up and cruising down there. I may take my wife and son, depending on what mood my wife is in tomorrow morning. I asked her earlier and she said "ask me in the morning"... I know my son wants to go. He hasn't caught a bass in a long time. Choke Canyon may be just the place to strip the gears out of that little Spiderman rod and reel that I've been trying to talk him into upgrading (5 years old - he won't hear of it). I keep carrying a new rod and reel in the boat for him in the hopes that he will start using it.
