I am thinking of buying this motor so I don't have the serial or model number. My question is this, the motor has been used mainly in brackish and saltwater what kind of problems would I be getting myself into. Second question is would I have to change anything on my 1984 Ranger that had a johnson 150 on it to hook up a motor that much newer? Hope this makes some kind of sense to someone.
