    Bass Champs Rayburn

Hope the weather is better than the Jan. T. I drew #12 boat for my 1st Bass Champs. Didn't help me a whole lot but it sure did feel good taking off and looking at all the other boats waiting in line. If anyone else is there look for a Blue on white Champ 203 DCX. Hope to see some Texas BBC'ers there.

    DChamp,

I am hoping that the weather is better also. It looks like it is supposed to be a nice day on the 17th (knock on wood). My partner an I were at the Jan. tournament and we were #281. We were figuring that there would be teams with limits before we got out of the launch!! We faired well and got 6th overall and also won Big Bass.
I am hoping that the weather is different but not the results.
We will be in a red on white bass cat. Good luck to you.

Congrats on 6th and Big Bass I really enjoyed my first Bass Champs except for my weight "0" . I'll be there next weekend but it will be different, water level and temps dropping all week. How long did it take once the boats started leaving before you turn came up?

We ended leaving the launch @ about 8:20. It will be interesting next weekend with the levels. Aren't they almost wide open as we speak. I went up yesterday and fished a couple of places where we had some luck last year and had a good. This place is on the opposite end of the lake so I am not real sure where we will go next weekend.
The big zero has bit me several times. I fished bass n bucks last weekend and we only caught one keeper so with the superbowl, we didi not even weigh in.

    Good Luck!

I was up there yesterday also. But, I didn't fish any of the spots I fished in the first Tournament. Stayed mainly mid-lake and up. It sounds like you left about 45 to 60 minutes after we did. Bummer Although you did weigh in an hour after we did. I guess my turn will come soon enough Good luck and hope to see you at the weigh in.
