Anyone planning on fishing out there this weekend? I'll be out there in Maroon champion. with a 150 Merc. Stop and say hello... Not sure if I will get to go on Saturday yet. Still in the works...

You make it out there? I was there till around 1:00 or so. Caught about 25. Biggest was a little over 5 and a couple of 4+. not a bad day. Hadnt been out there in a while so it was nice to check it out. Man that grass has taken over. I remember when I could fish behind the pennisula that sticks out under the bridge.

Kelly, do you have a free morning this week? I'll show you how tall the grass is at Pines.

How's the water level? I've not fished Gilmer since last fall, but have been thinking of heading over sometime soon.

Re: Lake Gilmer this weekend (Oldschool)

The water level is like all the other lakes around here. It's low, but plenty of water to fish. Start in the trees just out from the ramp and work your way along the tree line to the right for awhile.

I believe the worst looking lake due to low level around here is Pines......lots of dry land out in the middle!!!

Enjoy, any day fishing beats a good day at home!
