Even though perspective is 160 degrees (I think) it is much like 360 with one big exception you actually see fish moving a crossed the screen
You don’t have to wait for the next sweep of the transducer to show you how far you have drifted from the fish or piece of structure
The biggest thing I’ve found is fish don’t swim in a straight line
I have seen 4 fish moving in a pack and before I can cast they turn 30 degrees to the left you need this information if you want the best chance to catch one of them
You see a fish on 360 and you toss at it well by the time your bait gets there the fish has moved
With Livescope you see the tail kick and them head off in a certain direction as a certain speed you can anticipate where they are headed and put your bait in the best position for them to see it and react
Last but not least you can see how a fish reacts to your bait if it charges and stops or runs from it, helping you determine much faster if you need to change color, size or a new presentation
