1991 Johnson GT 150 question?

Rusty, you have helped me before and your service was priceless, saved me a ton of money from the local wolf mechanic Now I have another question that maybe you can help me with?

I have a Johnson 1991 GT150 Most times it starts right up, but here lately it will start and run for a while then for no known reason, it just won't start anymore. I don't smell any gas or anything. Wait a while, bam starts right back up? I have replaced the powerpack and tinkered with the fuel intake. Any suggestions? Clogged fuel filter or bad fuel pump maybe?

When you have this problem, after the motor dies check the spark, one thing about that pack...New Dont Mean Good.

I have replaced packs with only a couple of hours on them, BRP warranties most all parts for 1 year.

Bulb hard when it won't start? Try trimming up when this happens again and try and start it if the exhaust ports are below the H20 level back pressure can cause this to happen.

Was out yesterday and it did it again. I checked to see if it had spark and it did? I could not smell gas @ all, like it was not pumping, even tried to flood it on purpose. The ball is hard, boy that didn't sound right ANy suggestions fellas?
