Question Shopping for a new to me(USED)Triton 21footer sell me on paying up for the 4 stroke

Basically I am looking at a 2017 and newer models. I've had nothing but good from the first 225 ProXs in 2006 and later the 250 ProXS that I had on my 2008.
Of course the world has moved on. Prices are ridiculous now, but Its time for a new boat. Obviously I won't be paying full for a new one. Its just not in my budget.
However I've set my sights on a budget that allows maybe $40-55K depending on how they're equipped.
I've read a little on pros and cons and propping differences between the 2 and 4 stroke Pro XS.

My question is this: Given that 2019 is the model where you make the change to 4 Stroke, is there any absolute necessity to have to push my budget to the high end to make sure I end up with one?

If I'm dead set on a TR-21 and I'm choosing between 2017 year model highly equipped, 18 year model well equipped, versus a 2019-21 model lightly equipped but with a 4 Stroke, is it that much to consider it necessary?

I've even seen a 2021 year which is a replacement hull but with an 2018 model 2 stroke ProXS well within middle ground of my budget.

    Anyone here go from a 2017/18 into a 2019-21 ?

In my opinion, yes. I have had several 2S mercs and now on my 4th 4S. I couldn’t even imagine going back to a 2S. Fuel consumption wise it’s a wash probably. Power, torque, reliability I give to the 4S. Plus, not having to deal with any two stroke oil is a huge benefit. Both good motors in a 250, but I don’t think there’s a category I would pick the 2S over the 4S.

    Thanks,
What is the usable life of the 4S in hours? Ive seen 2 stroke life greater than 600 hours.

Properly maintained a few thousand hours are possible.
