    Exclamation Best editing software?

I got a go pro for Christmas and used it here while back and got some epic swimbait footage. In fact my best 5 weighed 27 even and they were northern strain fish. Anyway thank goodness I was running my gopro. I'm not really gonna share it much etc but wanted to make my clips into one big video and save it. What do you guys use for gopro editing software for either the phone or computer? Their app doesn't let you do stuff like that.

If your PC has movie maker, it’s very easy to use. Wish my new Pc had it.

If you have a Mac or iPad/phone, iMovie is fairly simple to use and it’s free. I use adobe premiere elements, it’s a reduced version of adobe premiere pro. Premiere Elements has guides in it to help you through the editing process. Premiere Elements is a stand alone program where Premiere Pro is a subscription based. What ever you use YouTube will be your friend in figuring out what you want to do.

I won't say it's the easiest, but if my MS "redneck" friend that is affectionately known as either "Sheepdog" or "bubba" can use it, I think anyone can. It's called Corel VideoStudio Pro. You can find it for like $50. Never tried the Davinci, but the Corel does everything I could want including multiple cameras, multiple formats, etc. on top of the effects and such.

My son (14) and I use Cyberlink Powerdirector. He uses https://www.cyberlink.com/products/p...iew_en_US.html on the PC where he does extensive editing and I use https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...hl=en_US&gl=US which is the version for Android on my phone since I make short videos. This guy's YouTube Channel has great tutorials PowerDirector University - YouTube .

It's a subscription for either version of the software, which is a turn off for some folks. My son usually makes enough money back between YouTube and streaming to more than cover the cost of the software - actually paid for his whole gaming rig himself.

I often use Adobe Premiere Pro on my computer. It's not free, but it's great for detailed edits.

I downloaded movie maker for both of my laptops. 1 is w10 the other is w11. this is the 2012 version movie maker . It's not supported but works fine for me. it's in the 2012 windows live setup. just look for movie maker after installing.

I use this video editing software from Movavi. I find it user-friendly, faster, and much more straightforward for these kinds of things, especially if you don't have much editing experience. It also balances functionality and usability, allowing me to piece together my clips exactly how I want.

I've used Davinci Resolve. Free and makes good videos. Takes some getting used to but like others have said, there are several YouTube videos out there for help.
