    Anna

I believe I will be headed down to fish Anna Saturday. Expect to launch around 9 or 10am. All I know about Anna is that it has a hot and cold side. I have a Topo map of it but I dont even know where to start. I have a 14 foot boat with a 45 HP engine on the back so Im not going to be able to run around the lake. Does anyone have any suggestions for spots decently close to boatramps. Where are the boatramps? I havent even done any planning yet becasuse I was out of town this weekend. Have they moved up and onto beds on either side? This will all help my plan going in and I can get an idea of what to tie..finding the fish is a WHOLE different story, but im gonna do my best

Access to the hotside is limited to land owners or knowing someone with access to that side of the lake. For the cold side I would launch at Christopher Run that will give you good access to the Norh Anna arm of the lake and fishing should be turning on up there. Another option would be to launch mid lake at Anna Point or High Point you'll right at the 208 bridge and you can go either direction and have some options close to the ramp.
Fish should be getting on beds soon, but there should be several ways to catch them next weekend.

    Good luck.

Thanks for the info! Ill probably keep my exploratory type baits tied on and may change depending on the water temp..i figure if its above 60 degrees right after this new moon last weekend they may start moving up onto beds in the Northern part of the lake. Again..appreciate the information!

I might be going out Friday? Would you be able to make that? You are welcome to ride along if you like... we can go to either the hot side or cold.
