How long can you keep a fish frozen before it gets to faded/freezer burned and looses it color? I put on in deep freeze on 27 May 2010 and have not taken it to the taxidermist yet as I have been trying to save the money to do so. Thanks in advance.

Most will last up to a year if you properly prepare the fish. After a year they tend to start losing scales. Do you have a taxidermist in mind? There is a good one in Ashburn, VA I can provide his information if you are interested.
I use Del's Taxidermy in Stafford. He has done a few others of mine and I really like what he does.
