    Potomac Toad fest 6-12-10

It was all about the 5's and up today.
Out at 7:30 quit at noon. Took the wife to hunt sharks teeth and loaded up at 3.
    Get your frog on!!

And a side note to the two guys in the red/white Allison that were fishing the "bent rod pattern" and crowded me for an hour. Lessons are 50 bucks even if you didn't learn any thing You really don't know how much entertainment it gives me to catch fish around your boat while your clearing weeds off your trolling motor!!! Some manners would have been nice, but it's summer time on the Potomac and allot of folks leave them at home???? Even my wife was laughing at you!!!!

Fished the Fed Nat Va region 6 today up there and could not buy a toad bite. Caught all my fish on Paca Craws fishing isolated hydrilla mats away from where everyone else was in Pomonkey. Only had 4 fish limit for like 8.65 pounds. Did have a few good ones come off getting hung up in the grass though.
Where did you find the toad bite up or down from Leesylvania?

good times. I been fishing mattawoman all week and catching nothing but 3-5 pounders with the occasional dink on a buzzbait. Mine been coming on a swim jig, senko, minus one and a wareagle half ounce spinnerbait. Have yet to catch a fish on a frog ever. I just have no luck with it.

Did that red/white Ally have NC numbers on it? Had same situation at Gaston in the spring.

    Scott,
You are correct, the bent rod pattern doesn't bother me, never has. I can tie them up and hand them the rod (I have offered before. Pisses them off??) and they still can't beat me at my own game. Shame is a powerful tool and the tighter you turn the knob, the tougher it gets on these folks. I like it.

    Jeff,
The Ali did have NC numbers on it. Must have some history????
