Fished today from 6:30-3:00. Launched out of Pohick Bay with my 12 year old son. A reward trip for getting honor roll. We caught 17 fish today. He caught one on his second cast with pop-r. The river was murky in some places and clear in others. Grass is starting to come up great. We caught fish in the grass by the coast guard station in Pohick,Pisataway and Greenway. Also caught 2 off the Fort Washington point. Not much weight though, with best 5 going about 12lbs. Couldn't get on the better fish. Not many boats on the water for a BFL being there tomorrow.Curious to see their weight!
