    Replacing Impeller on J99115PLEEM

I was out the other day, and the motor ran fine under 4500rpms. It shut down with alarm when I ran it over 5000. I've never replaced the impeller, but it gives a good stream at idle. Does impeller replacement sound like the fix? If so, where do I disconnect the shift linkage. Any other tips will be appreciated.

    Thanks,

Yep under the bottom carbs. Pull both belly pans off and you'll see everything you need to do to unhook the pin. Just move the shifter back and forth and you'll see the linkage.
