I know it's a long shot, but my cousin's dog was either taken or escaped from their backyard back in June. They were in town this weekend and I just found out about it. They are still holding out hope and the human society says that dogs show up 3 months to a year after they were lost so hopefully they can still find him. The dog meant the world to them and their two young kids so if you have any information about him it would be great. He is a 7 year old yellow lab. He's a tall and skinny, you can usually see most of his ribs because he won't eat much (he's not neglected). His most distinguishing feature is he had about 8 inches of his tail amputated this winter. Here are a couple older pictures of him before his tail was cut.

They have talked to the humane society and lab rescue and other pounds in the area and they receive pictures of any lab that is brought in.
If anyone has seen him please let me know and I will pass it on to them. It would mean the world to them if they got him back. Thanks for any help.
