Was wondering if any body had been out on grand lake recently, and was wondering if anyone was willing to share some info. I will be fishing a tournament down there april 17th and would like to obtain a little info. I would guess that the fish will be on the beds by then?
The river in the middle 50, middle 50ish, dam area high 40, muddy line around honey creek headed down Sunday.
the fish wont be on the beds until may they hevent even thought about it yetby now the mudline will be close to drowning creek .good luck
I was there last Sunday and it was very tough. A lot will change by April 17th, the lake is a big tournament lake so I doubt that anyone will offer much info. I don't know if I will get back to fish it before then or I would let you know what I learned. If so I will IM you.
My partner caught em good yesterday on a blade. It is getting better every sunny and warm day. By then you prolly can catch em bout any way you want to.

Saw 60 degree water late yesterday way up duck creek, but the crappie were not biting I can tell you that! It should start getting really good very shortly.

the report im getting is the big fish are moving up , talked to a guy prefishing for a t and between thurs/ sun he had 12 fish 5lbs or bigger and caught a bunch 3-5 he said to watch the weights for this weekend could be a 30+ lb string weighed in
today is going to be a slaughter in the ranger series...344 boats
i got hosed today, had one bite, caught a white and a gar.... water temp and conditions were great just had one of those days.
