I live in Norman, and was planning on fishing Thunderbird. I was wondering if anyone could give me any info on the lake before I head out there. Also, are any of the other lakes in the OKC area worth fishing? Thanks.

Thunder Bird is ok but it is crowed on weekends with pleasure boats. Wes watkins is good and fun to fish. The smaller city lakes around are also goood Bell Cow, Prague and Okehma
Wes Watkins, Sportsman Lake in Seminole and Shawnee Twin Lakes (the lake level came back up last year after all the rain). Dirtybird is real crowded on the weekends.
I have fished T-Bird alot. I just don't catch many fish there. I like Draper except for the weekend traffic. Watkins is ok but I don't like paying that much just to fish for one day.
