Wondering the best location to mount my new Lowrance 3-1 Transducer on my 621 Ranger, some are saying below the jack plate, others on the bottom side of the hull in the step down area...any thoughts or recommendations appreciated.

Wondering the best location to mount my new Lowrance 3-1 Transducer on my 621 Ranger, some are saying below the jack plate, others on the bottom side of the hull in the step down area...any thoughts or recommendations appreciated.
I have them in both places. Since the 3n1 is fairly long, under the step would probably be best. I have a 3n1 under the step and a bird under the plate.Originally Posted by jlor88
