Glassed in Transducer (7-pin) and Active Imaging 2n1 (9-pin)

OK I cannot get a straight dang answer.

If I get the LSS HD Y Cable Service Replacement and an AI 2n1...is that the way to combine my glassed transducer (7-pin) and Active Imaging 2n1 (9-pin) on an Elite FS (9-pin)?

Also...do I need a 7-pin to 9-pin adapter to connect the glassed 7-pin transducer to the adapter cable?

I searched the Lowrance Parts List and found no 000-11169-001 part number anywhere. Where did you get that number?

yeah it is the cable in this kit but it is not available yet. I’ve know someone who works for Lowrance and the cable I need is only sold to boat builders for the time being.

Ah. In that case your original question would be yes, you would need to add a 7 to 9 pin adapter to use your old 7 pin transducer with this new cable.

You need this y-cable kit 000-14813-001. This one has the 7 pin connection for 2d sonar and the 9 pin for the Active Imaging transducer. The single end is 9 pin and plugs directly into the back of your FS unit. The other one that was stated is is all 9 pin connections to connect the 9 pin 2d transducers and active Imaging transducer.

Yes. The cable in that kit is the one you need. It is not sold separately nor is that kit sold on Lowrance website. I was able to obtain it as Im fortunate to have a good friend. The actual part number of the cable by itself is 000-12573-001. You won’t find it sold publically or to Lowrance dealers.

it has a 7 pin connector (for the glassed transducer) and a 9 pin for the active imaging. It then combines into a single 9 pin connector for the back of the unit.

As mentioned in the 2 year old thread, it is not sold to the public. You’d have to find a used one or try to get a boat dealer to find one for you.

Ok thanks, I had hoped that availability would have increased by this time, and his good friend had contact info lol, I've checked with lowrance tech services and their solutions is buy the kit if you can find one.

Since you have nothing to loose try calling the parts dept at while river boat mfg the people that make all bass pro boats and see if that parts dept will sell you on since that is how they may buy it. Good Luck
