and is there a way to find out the lake levels? i tried the us army corps site but can't find it anywhere. need help.

    Re: Rocky Fork Lake?? (Cincinnatibassmaster)

It does have a spillway but it is NOT a flood controlled lake so I don't think you will find anything from army corp of engineering. I was there last weekend and plan on being there tomorrow. Generally water stays at a pretty constant level. It was a little high (compared to how much rain we had last week) and cold last sat. Water temp was 42-44 degrees. Water was muddy as well from rain and all the wind from Sat. when I was fishin' it.

I was at the Highland County Hunting and Fishing show yesterday. I saw all the tourny guys as they got to the no wake down on the east end. Man did they look cold ! lol Heard That R.H. won as well. One of my buddies was out pre-fishing for next week and caught an absolute HAWG on his very first cast! He said that he caught 3 keepers in all. So , I guess a few of them were biting. Wish I could upload the pic of his big one. Said it was over 7#!

Yep that was us. I found that spot last year on my SI. Buddy found something last weekend and tried to idle over it to show it to me. We wanted to fish that area but yall was already there.

I might know a little about the White Oak pool but not as much as I do about the Tanners pool.

For a brief moment in time, while we were both on the lake, I was willing to spill the beans, but you wanted to fish in that stinking cove where there is no fish this time of year...so I left you there to your own misery and alas, I never spilled the beans.

yeah I know. I was still playing with my mota trying to get it to act right. I cant believe your batteries died and you left early. I was going to get you to do some "hot" laps in 40* weather.

    Re: Rocky Fork Lake?? (Whitaker201)

Well, I did go from one end to the other, but I was shivering, I can tell you that. 40 degrees to me is entirely to cold especialy with the wind blowing. Not only did I get notified I need new TM batteries that day, my port side livewell pump in is dead also, so now I have to replace it too.

Re: Rocky Fork Lake?? (TE 863)

We fish a cpl every year that are opens.
I normally fish them with my little brother we have caught 1 or 2 there at night

Brad thats a community hole but it replenish's pretty regular. You will have to take a number to fish anywhere on that lake for the next cpl months

Buddy we are in Ohio .... they are all community holes. That is one reason I like the river, everybody has a chance to spread out some.

Let me know about one of them night tx's. I might have to take you up on that offer.
