I fished Badin in March a few years ago with 30 mph wind 50 mph gusts. It was not a fun day for sure. It looked like the ocean LOL

In the afternoon at Harris yesterday, there was a steady 30+mph. Add to that a jackass in a wake board boat that decided to do laps in White Oak creek, I took 3 foot rollers over the bow a couple times before calling it quits.
man...........that blows.......

I was out yesterday also and it did suck then too!!! Saw a Ski Boat/Cuddy cabin combo launch about 2 or so. Same boat maybe? When they left the ramp (Holemans..sp?) they headed up that way.

Yeah, packfan; the cuddy cabin boat and wake board boat were tearing it up in White Oak. Guess no one told them its not Memorial Day yet.
Basswipe - fished from 10am-230pm. Actually parked next to you at the 42 ramp. Figured it might be easier to launch from that ramp with the wind.
I didn't know you were out. It did get a bit windy, I rolled about 1:30.

I was out in the wind Sunday- all day. Thought I would only be going for a couple hours, but when I found where the fish were, out on the main lake in direct wind, I learned to like the wind and stayed all day.
Normally hate the wind, even in the hot summer, but Sunday was one of the best days I've ever had at catching quality fish. And, of course, I wasn't fishing a tourney.
Figures.
