I know my weaknesses, I don't jump into this kind of stuff.
But years ago I was long NFLX calls going into a Friday, NFLX gapped up and ran for a few hours. Meanwhile my broker was down. NFLX turned down, faded all the morning gains. By the time I was able to close my calls I was able to get out at even.
This kind of shit seems to always happen when the little guys can get screwed.
I was planning on daytrading some of the runners, I think it was yesterday. I had an order in on AMC, I believe it was, but it didn't fill and then negative indicators popped up on the chart so I cancelled it. Stock turned down and consolidated for a little bit but by that point, I just gave up on trading because I had a bunch of other junk to do and couldn't watch it like I needed too. Shortly after the restriction news started coming out, so I was really glad that I didn't get in. All of it is just absolutely crazy
It is hard enough to place a quick speculative trade but to have to worry about when or if it gets filled or whatever else may come down the road makes it even harder.Originally Posted by Bassmaster96
