Feider to Ballistic Boats

Don't know if any of you listened all the way thru on the Stray Casts New Years special but Feider mentioned that he is joining Livesay and going to be running a Ballistic this season. 2:42 ish into the super long podcast. I been listening to parts of it here and there while I have been working and heard that. Went to check on the Bass Cat website and he is no longer listed in their pro-staff lineup.

Wonder who else will be changing it up this season? I see Bob Downey isn't listed on the BCB page either so I am guessing he is switching to a different ride as well.

I know what Ranger is going toward. Seems there were hundreds of boats going out the door that were going to "staffers" every year. I am sure the dealers were rigging them but were not seeing profit from the sale of the boat. Then it's a non-sale to the dealer when "staffer" goes to sale the boat to 2nd owner and was reducing the resale value of a used boats so "staffers" could flip their boat quickly. The last three boats I bought were "staffer" boats. In my opinion, I don't the dealer really liked me doing so. Ultimately I think Ranger is trying to take care of the dealer but I really think it is going to hurt them in the long run. People like myself, will move on to a different manufacturer and away from Ranger.

I think I read it here that the whole reason Lee Livesay won the elite tournament is because he ran a Ballistic. If he was in any other boat he would’ve lost and the fish were in such awe of gods gift to humanity they threw themselves in his boat.
