LaCajuninNC, I too was in that tourney (1st one in NC) and had a totally diiferant result then you. Wish I knew what to do in this darn lake.. Had a SB out and used it for sometime (Shallow and deep). Used Drop-Shot, CR, CB and TR.. URGHHHH

I believe yesterday was about location. Rich and I have been fishing Harris for quite a long time, and have amased patterns, baits, and locations for certain times of the year. When they are on that pattern and location we can get on them pretty good! The thing about Harris for me is, it very seldom changes from year to year, same tried and true baits in the same tried and true locations.
Just like Basswipe caught them on a crank. Basswipe sent you an IM..
I've also been out there and hang my head low because I can't buy a bite..

That is Harris for me. It is either feast or famine. No middle of the road for me on that lake. I have had a lot of days when I left that lake with my head held high and a lot of days when I left shaking my head. That is why I keeping going fishing every chance I can because you just don't know what each day will bring.
