Last year some of the BBC guys fished the Moye Classic, a tournament designed to give kids at the Baptist Children's Home in Thomasville an opportunity to get out on the water and enjoy a day of fishing and fun. It's held on High Rock Lake, and the hours are pretty relaxed.

The tournament is running again this year, on September 19, and I would like to invite anybody that wants to come to please send me your email adr, drop me a note at silverchamp203@yahoo.com or an IM, and I will put you on the mailing list for the tx.

The format is a kid, the kid's counselor from school, and you on the boat. The big money comes from getting to see a kid enjoy fishing. There are prizes for the kids, as in 'most fish', 'largest bluegill', 'largest bass', etc etc. There is no cost to you, other than gas, and it's well worth the time.
