    Plug question

Whats the difference with the Q in the Champion plugs and what difference will it make in motor performance?

    Example QL77JC4 and L77JC4

    Re: Plug question (fivebasslimit)

Q is a resistor plug. The non Q plugs sometimes play havoc with electrical components on some motors. I cannot run the non Q's in my 1990xp 200. It will run rough and will cut out and miss above 5000 rpm's, go-figure

    SEAHORSE,

What type of sparkplug wire do we use with "Q" type sparkplugs? It is my understanding that you do not use suppressor wires with suppressor type sparkplugs

    Regards,

If you can't run with the big dogs, just stay on the porch.

The grey plug wires are suppressor type, black ones are not. Yep, you can run both together.

All the newer motors use both.

Yours is fine as it is.
