If you haven’t tried out the S.W.A.G. line of products you are missing out. I recently purchased some Jigs and Spinner Baits and put them to the test.
The first thing I did was to take a spinner bait and dip it in water and hang it in my rod locker where I usually hang my normal go to brand of spinner baits (W.E.) to find out what the corrosion factor would be. Usually if I hang a (W.E.) in there I can expect to see discolored blades and corrosion on the head in just a couple of days. I left the S.W.A.G. spinner bait in there for a week. ABSOLUTY NO CORROSION OR DISCOLORATION of any kind when I took it out. I then took it to a body of water that I knew I would be able to catch a bunch of very large pike. That’s one problem up here in the North East when a pike hits a spinner bait there is a very good chance that it won’t be worth returning to the water it’s so mangled. I caught a bunch of pike, 3 of them over 10lbs and the spinner bait looked like it had just come out of the package. In fact I just returned from the lake and must have caught 20 small mouth on that same bait.
The football head jigs are of very good quality. The paint is very hard to chip, I used one all day fishing rocky points and humps and the whole jig is in near perfect shape. They have a very good balance and action and they do catch fish. I will say that they did have a hard time coming thru the grass but that is to be expected with any football head jig.
To sum up in my humble opinion I would recommend the S.W.A.G. line of products. They have a quality product at a reasonable price which is very hard to come by these days.
