Lake drawdown-- vote on tourney for lake Monomanic

I also spoke with the lake assoc. and yes they are scheduled to start the drawdown on the 15th, was told that it usally takes about 2 weeks to drop the lake the 2ft drop, I think we will be Ok with the Tourney on the 19th, but want to know what everyone thinks

Just another FYI.

The lake is only 2.5-3 feet deep at the state line landing. Is there another launch on the northeast end on the MA side? Does anyone know where it is?
I say we give it a try.

The only launch I know of is at the store in NH. When I was there a couple weeks ago it was only about 2 feet there then. We will have to go slow out to the main lake, but what else we going to do????

I just talked to the mayor of Monomonac, his take on this is we should be fine. The lake is up, and they dont drop it to far since the new dam is in place. so with that, lets fish.

FWIW, I never had a problem launching at that landing even when the lake was low. I fished that lake a lot in the late fall/early spring(right after ice out). I wouldn't think you would have a problem.
