Pawtuckaway Lake N.H. is warmin' up

    Went yesterday for 4 hrs.
    Main lake is 58-59
Northern coves were up to 63-64 yesterday.
Mostly smaller fish at the edges right now
    Caught 7,on largie was 3 1/2
By the way the access road to the launch is terrible right now.Go slow.
Sent an email to the state about it.

Got a reply from the state, they are going to take care of the access road.

Doesn't seem to get much traffic over there.

Hey Tyler, I was just going through and noticed your post about Pawtuckaway (better known as Rockaway) and I found out why it is given that name also.
The problem I have is I hit a rock a couple of weeks ago and didn't relise that I bent my prop shaft. I had someone look at it and tell me what I need for parts. I bought all the parts BUT now I am trying to find someone to fix it for me. I have the lower end of and it is all ready to be fixed.
Do you know anyone that can help me out????

It's hard for me to recommend anyone these days.
They are either expensive or questionable.
I do my own service work.
What brand and year motor do you have?
Owens Marine does decent work on Evinrude but they are not cheap.
I'll be out of town for 4 days so I won't reply until then.

By the way, anyone thinking about going to Pawtuckaway for their first time.
Have some one with you that knows the lake.
Even the ramp area is extremely treacherous.
There is good fishing be had.
If I have a chance when I get back,I'll mark up a map with my known hazards.
    Keep reminding me

Re: Pawtuckaway Lake N.H. is warmin' up (cyclone70)

Cyclone, I have fish Pawtucaway many, many times and I do know that it can be rather tricky at times. I usually fish with a friend who knows the lake but this time I was with someone else which is really no excuse. I do know most of the hazardes in the lake.
If you are talking about the same ramp that I know YOU ARE RIGHT it can be tricky.
I have a Johnson Fast Strike, 150 hp.
I have found someone to fix my lower end so thanks anyway for your help.
Maybe we can get out some time together once I get my ride fixed.
I'll be looking forward to getting back on the water. Hope to met up with you down the road in thew near future.
    Thanks Again, 00Bassin
