Fished All day Monday and struggled to catch keepers. I caught a bunch of shorts, but only had about 6 keepers. The lake is down a bunch since I tore them up over the MLK weekend. I would assume this has something to with the poor bite.

Read on crappie.com that a guy did well between the 16-17 mile markers this past Monday. Didn't say what the pattern was though.

Crappie bite has really fizzled for me too. The only bite I can find is to get toward the back of the really deep coves or cuts that have 25 feet of water or more in them. The crappie are positioned on dock corners esp. the larger dock corners from 10-20 feet down. Hard to find this combination, but it will pay off. Don't know how long this will hold as I am a basser, not a crappie dude.
