Tilt Pin/ Trim Rod or whatever they call it.

I have an Intruder 150 and noticed that when trimmed all the way down that the motor bracket bottoms out on the trim cylinders. I don't have the pin in the holes to stop at a certian location. Just wondering how many run with a pin and how many run without a pin. If you run with the pin what hole do you have it in? I've been working on my hole shot and got to wondering is the motor going to low in the water. Thanks for any help!

#1 is where the pin should be.

If you put my pin in the number 1 hole it does nothing when the motor is trimmed down as far as it will go. The engine bracket still bottoms out on the bottom portion of the trim cylinders before it can make contact with the pin. It has been doing this probably since it was new. I only noticed because i'm the second owner.
Just trying not to do any damage but get the prop tucked as much as possible for those heavly loaded hole shots. Thanks
