Jay....you know what lake you gotta go to, hell it just produced a 14 pounder this spring, AND THE GUY WAS BREAM FISHING WHEN HE CAUGHT IT!![]()
Been there and they are some tough fish to catch.![]()
I may have to go to Texas this winter anyone up for a road trip.
If they (Texas) don't get any rain there won't be any lakes to go to.

I never drink water because of the disgusting things that fish do in it.

The news didnt tell the whole story on the 14.6 that was caught.
I caught a 10 lb 5 oz bass at that lake three years ago. Took a couple of pics and shot a short video and then she was released to be caught again. It may have been the 14.6 that was caught, she may still be swimming or she may already be on somebodies wall. If you are going to try to catch a big one down there, you better do it quick. There were so many big fish that got mounted out of this lake last year, it wasnt funny. I wish that they would up the slot limit to 1 fish over 25" This lake has the potential of producing bass in the 20 lb range, if they can make it that long without getting caught.![]()
if lake lamar still had some water i know where we could get a bigg one right now! lets go to mexico! grande in febuary! is what pablo said.![]()

Maybe....maybe not. Last time I "looked" at lamar bruce it definitely wasn't what I would call a "lunker lake". Let it get some water on it and give it 5 years....then you'll see some good'uns.

That would be a huge negative.....I've seen what Flint Creek produces, and it ain't in the same league as Davis, but then again....not too many public lakes are.
All joking side flint creek has given up several double digit fish, jason we need to fish there one saturday night
I'm waiting on a calm night...they seem rare up there!
