my 48 hp evinrude idles a little ruff. then when you accelerate with the fast idle lever it smooths off and runs good but the rpms are a little high and you cannot cut the engine off with the key. when u idle it up all the way it starts cutting out and u can kill it. think it may be a timing advace problem? any suggestions? help!
I would look at the ignition switch and be sure you don't have a broken ground wire.
