I talked to one of their associates last week and he said they pulled all of them off the shelves. He told me they had moved them to the back so they could rearrange the fishing department.
Bummer. A fella was there from somewhere with no Academy, just to buy them. He asked a worker and the kid just said "I dunno?". Good answer, kid.
Went this morning, hang on to the H2Os ya'll have. They said they won't have any until maybe the 1st of the year. He said they have been selling well, there is just a problem with the supplier.
oh BUMMER. Neighbor has been doing well on one of their baits and we wanted to get a few extra.
That seems weird though, since like ALL of them were gone. ?
you just have to know the right peopleI found the same thing ya'll did so I asked where the baits were. A guy I know that works there said they are in storage but will be put out later. So I come back a few days later and they still aren't out. Ask a guy working and he doesn't have a clue about them. So I told him the story and he ask another guy. I convinced them to take me to storage so I could get a couple cranks.
Hmmm... I just may have to bug the snot out of them till I get what I want.
I was down from Hattiesburg two weeks ago and was super bummed out they were gone. But, on the way to New Orleans this past weekend made a detour to the Slidell Academy and they had 2 or 3 times the amount of H2O baits than Gport ever had. Picked up a supply.
Yeah I was bummed when I first saw their stock, it was like a 1/4th of what I saw in Texas. Oh yeah, Gulfport has put their H2Os back out now.
