Duncan Marine Open This Saturday

Guys just wanted to let everyone know this saturday is the first Duncan Marine Open on Ross Barnett out of Hwy 43/Tommy's. There will be registration Friday evening starting at 6 at Duncan Marine where you will get your boat number and we will go over the rules and give away a few door prizes and eat a hamburger or two. If you can't make the meeting you can sign up at the ramp, with no late fee, and be one of the last boats out. If yall have any questions you can IM me or call Duncan Marine at 601 992 1979

How many boats are they expecting Whiskey? A buddy of mine is fishing it and I may fish it with him if everything goes well between now and then.

Well that is the MILLION dollar question. I have heard between 60 to 80. So I am not really sure. I know as of Monday eve when we held our last meeting we had 7 preregisters so we will see. Wish the weather would be a little better but one thing we can't control is mother nature. Come fish enjoy the fellowship and competition and have a burger. If anyone else has any questions just hollar.

Correct 21.75 won. Congratulations to Dan Love and Corey Miller on their win. Mike Norsworthy for capturing lunker with a 7.26! Can't remember all the folks that got checks should have complete results in a day or so. I know it took 12.30 to get 12th place money which was the last check.

JR skeeter yall finished 27th as of now. The results aren't official cause someone gave us a wrong boat number and we are trying to sort it all out. so your finish shouldn't change more than a place when we get it all figured out. I would love to hear any and all opinions on what you guys that competed thought bout the tourney. You can IM me or post here doesn't matter. We want to know what ya liked and didn't like so we can make it better from the Fri meeting thru weigh in. We want to make it the best we can and the only way to do that is to find out what you guys like. Thanks whiskey OUT

Hate we missed the tourney, but we will make the next one. I should never have scheduled some work to be done on my house when tournament season begins. Glad you had a good turnout.

Thanks Whiskey, Thought it was great, everything ran smooth, payout was good. Enjoyed it, my only suggestion is can you make some 7 pounders hit my jig next time?
We are definitely in for the season though. This should be a really good series. Thanks for putting it together
