I bought a new Stratos with a 225 Ho on it on 03/31/08 and I have still not recieved my warranty info in the mail yet. I'm supossed to get a $400 gas card as well and have not see that either. My dealer says that all that stuff comes from Evinrude not from them which makes sense. I was wondering if any of you have exerinenced this same problem with not getting your warranty info promptly from Evinrude. Jut let me know.

They are slow but you will get them. Give BRP a call and nudge them
Bought mine at the end of Feb. and got the gas cards about a month ago, but just got the warranty card yesterday and shows my purchase date asMar. 27.
I had some problems with registration and of it caused by the dealer. A slow poke who did not process the paper work in a timely manner with BRP
Make certain your's sent in all his paperwork!! A call to Evinrude should confirm status of current ownership of the engine's serial number provided.

I had the same thing happen to me. The dealer never registered my engine at all and I had to do it myself with BRP.
I went over a year and then dicovered I did not have the full 7 year warranty but only the 3 year factory. Turns out the dealer in Camrose Alberta deposited the factory credit meant to buy the extension from FPC into their account while affirming to me I had a 7 year warranty. Fraud and or theft in my opinion and BRP left it up to me to fight it out with them. The guys at FPC finally persuaded BRP to cough up the payment for the extension and nothing was said to the dealer.
Now they refuse to do any service for me and the only other dealer near me won't give me service either as I did not buy from him.
