Thought some of you might want to know about this. Some of the prizes are pretty good, such as a chance at $100,000, new boat, ATV, and so on.

From March 30 - June 12, 2009 the Meridian Family of Stations is offering a chance to win prizes by catching a tagged fish in area lakes. The MDWFP tagged 300 fish including bass, crappie, bream, and catfish. The following are the lakes containing the tagged fish with the number of fish tagged listed.

Okatibbee Reservoir - 165 fish
Kemper County Lake - 50 fish
Lake Tom Bailey - 40 fish
Neshoba County Lake - 21 fish
Clarkco State Park lake - 12 fish
Bonita Lakes (one with boat ramp) - 12 fish
