Ross Barnett Thursday Night Tournaments

It's that time again guys! Time for the Ross Barnett Thursday Night Tournaments. Everyone's invited to come join in on the fun . Bring your kid, wife, co-worker, or whomever you want to fish with. The tournaments will start on Thursday March 26th at 5:30 pm.

Launch site: Tommy's Trading Post on Hwy 43
Entry fee: $ 20 per person fishing
Lunker: $5 ( optional )
Payouts are based upon number of entries.

The fishing hours will be from 5:30 pm until 8 pm. I will adjust the weigh-in time to an earlier or later time depending upon the daylight hours available. Try to get there a little early if possible. Participants may fish as a team or as an individual. The largest 3 bass limit over 12" wins. Lunker must be 5lbs or better to qualify or the pot will roll over to the next week. Anglers are encouraged to wear life jackets and be respectful of others while participating in these events. Everyone getting ready for next Thursday?

We had a great turn-out for last week's event. A total of 16 boats were entered into the tournament. The first place team had 3 fish that went over 15 lbs and took home around $340 bucks!!! 2nd place was a little over 11 lbs ( $100 ), and third place had 10.5 lbs ( $60 ). Not bad for 2 1/2 hours of fishing huh?

I hope that some of you from this forum can get a chance to come join us one Thursday night.
