I went last Friday at the dam for sauger and caught a few. More stripe than anything. Then I had a brainstorm Saturday night. I thought I would try drop shotting for sauger with minnows. I went back Sunday evening and didn't catch any sauger but caught one 5 lbish lm at the end of the long lock wall, along with 10 crappie and more drum than I care to mention. If anyone ever has a drum tx, I'd be sure to win it!

I might have beat you on the drum today......LOL. Good lord. That is all we caught today. They had 5 doors open plus generating. Bait fish everywhere. I think the sauger ate too much. LOl
