    New Powerhead Fitted.

Hey I told Liquid Nirvana that I would post the findings of the new 2008 dressed powerhead over my old 2006. Well this engine is an animal, I have the boat set up with 5 1/2 cmc manual jackplate and a set of wedges about 1 inch thick at the top. I am running the cav plate 143mm or roughly 5 5/8'' above the pad and for a fan I am spinning a 27'' pitch renagade bass. This motor has better power through the full rev range. Posting a quick pic of the outcome. GO THE E TECS

    Cheers Damien

Told ya didn't I. Just keep the RPM to no more than 5800 to prevent extra oil being pumped in to protect your baby. No real advantage in running over 5700.

Yeah have a prop coming from the Labsport boys I will try and knock 150 to 200 rpm out of the beast and maybe pick up some speed. It wanted to keep winding out, the handheld said 77.6mph and i think it may have clocked over 78 but I am very happy with it.
