Coffeen results from Sunday.

Anyone have them? The guys running the tournaments at Newton and Coffeen are getting bad about posting the results. Then they wonder why the turnout is so low.

I fished the Sunday Tx at coffeen. We left with about 1/2 of the 62 teams weighed in. A little over 9 lbs. was leading at the time. We had our limit at 8.50..

I saw the results and thought there had to be a mistake...62 teams! That sounds like an insane amount of boats for that little lake. To those that fished, was it miserable, or could you actually fish without hitting somebody else's boat?

I fished that tourney and didn't have any problems with other boats..Hard to believe..

I should have clarified, the Newton tournaments is averaging only 20 boats. The Coffeen Tourney is doing well. It has been taking over 23lb + to win at Newton.

The lot was big enough for everyone.

Rigs are parked on the road only when there is around 70 or more boats.... which is not uncommon early in the season.
